I got back from Idaho and got to spend two weeks with Zac before he left for Idaho. We went to Sea World and to the #1 ranked mini-golf course in all of Florida (yes it was researched!)... Pirate's Cove. The first nine holes was great and we were enjoying each other's company. Slowly it started to get competetive as I kicked of holes 10 and 11 with two hole-in-ones. I could tell Zac was trying to play it cool and be happy for me, but inside he was burning up. Our competetive natures started to kick in and when he got two hole-in-ones, the game was ON! This was not just a friendly mini-golf game anymore, and the snide comments and jeering started. By hole 15, we were both in a horrible mood, but relentless in our fight for the low score. After I called Zac on a couple of sketchy "gimmies" he was finished. On the last hole, he launched the ball and it ricocheted like a pinball machine. "There, you won, are you happy?" At this point, we both realized how ridiculous and juvenile we'd both been and we busted up laughing. Still, I think we'll avoid mini-golfing for date night for awhile ;)
