Mayzie's Blessing
Mayzie is 9 weeks old--how time flies! We blessed her on Sunday and Zac did a wonderful job, even though he got the "yips" half-way through. He is an amazing daddy and loves Mayzie and I so much. She had her two month appointment yesterday and weighed 11 lbs 4 oz and was 21.5 inches long. She was smiling and cooing on the doctor's table and I was holding her arms so the nurse could give her shots. Two seconds after the needle went in, the smile changed to a look of betrayal that said, "Why are you doing this to me???" It absolutely BROKE my heart! The upside is that she slept almost 9 hours last night:)

What a beautiful blessing dress! I know exactly what you mean about the shots - its horrible. She is getting so big, and still such a doll. Hopefully I'll get to see her sooner than later. How is the "motherhood" going?

She is so adorable! Isn't dressing a little girl and putting adorable things in their hair (or on their head rather) so much fun? I love it. She looks so cute! I love her dress and her headband. Its so sad when they get their shots! I have a hard time with it and try not to cry myself! I can't believe she is 9 weeks already. SAD!
I hate giving my kids shot too. It's the worst. It's such a double edged sword! You know they need them but it just breaks your heart to have to just hold them down while someone stabs them with a needle. I hate it.....
Anyway, Mayzie looked so cute in her blessing dress with that cute headband! Love it!

Mayzie is such a sweetheart. I had so much fun with her yesterday. I wish Emmett was awake so they could have stared at each other again. hehe. We need to have a beach play date with them.
